ACCOMMODATION

Dear Participants of #sial2015hu,

We would like to announce that we finally got a special rate (60 EURO bed+breakfast) from a great hotel in Ankara. The hotel is Ramada Ankara located in the city centre. If you would like to stay in the hotel, you need to send an e-mail to Ceyda Bilgili (ceyda.bilgili[at]ramadaankara.com.tr) at Ramada Hotel and refer to “the name of the conference and the member of our organising team Safinaz Büyükgüzel” in the e-mail.

About the transportation from the hotel to the campus, there are two main alternatives. First one is that you walk for 10 minutes to Kızılay metro station and take the line that will take you to Beytepe station where our campus is located. When you arrive at the station, you need to transfer using the shuttle waiting outside at the metro station. The second one is that you take a taxi to the campus area which will cost around 60 TL (20 EURO). We suggest that you share a taxi with the other participants staying at the hotel.

We would like to kindly remind you that only the participants who registered for methodology workshops using the online form will be eligible to attend the sessions. Unfortunately, we do not have any empty slots left. Please send an e-mail if you are not sure that you booked a seat in the workshops.

Although the registration window for methodology workshops and paper presentations is closed, it is still possible to register the conference as a member of the audience. Fill out the form and finalise your registration.

Accommodation and Transportation

We would like to inform you that we are working on accommodation options in Ankara so that we can make sure that you will return with a  good academic and social experience from the conference. Following the end of  the registration process for paper presenters, we will come back with some decent hotel options that will offer special rates to the participants of the conference. We are also planning to provide transportation from these hotels to the campus area. We kindly request you to finalise your registration, plan your travel to Ankara, and follow updates on the conference website and HUMAN twitter account.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED

Abstract submission deadline to HUMAN Social Interaction and Applied Linguistics Conference has been extended to the 10th of June. Please fill in the submission form and deliver it to the organising team at sial2015hu[at]gmail.com by the 10th of June. The final decision on the submitted works will be announced on the 15th of June.
